This tea is what started it all. Moon Tea was Roots' original herbal creation, the blend that opened the door to this business and so many opportunities along the way.

The original intention was for the feminine, but over the years it has evolved into something special for everyone who tries it.

About the Herbs

Red Raspberry Leaf has a light, earthy flavor that leaves you feeling half the size your Aunt Flo convinces you are, while her nagging seems to quiet down. It has a long history of traditional use in women's herbal practices.

Spearmint and Lemon Balm are like hanging out with your best friends who tell you everything is going to be okay. Both are members of the mint family and bring a light, refreshing flavor to the blend.

Ginger adds just a little warmth and spice and has been used in food, tea, and traditional herbal practices for generations.

Hibiscus and Rose Hips wrap everything together with their tart, fruity flavors and give Moon Tea its beautiful color. Rose hips are naturally rich in vitamin C, while hibiscus has a long history of use in herbal drinks around the world.

How to Brew

Amount: 1 teaspoon per 8 oz water
Water: Boiling water
Steep: Until cool enough to touch
Strain & enjoy

Keep it simple! Add your herbs to an infuser, French press, or my favorite, a plain mason jar. Pour the water over your herbs, let them steep, strain, and enjoy.

For iced tea: Prepare it the same way, let it cool, and strain. Store it in the fridge for 2–3 days and pour it over ice when you're ready. Add a little honey and a teaspoon of Fire Cider to turn it into my version of a daily "sweet tea."
